Growing business and singing karaoke. Sometimes at once.
Jake focuses on business growth locally and nationally through new connections, PR, civic engagement and speaking opportunities at conferences.
Jake has spent his career using his talents for good, with experience doing PR and social media at two of his dream jobs: Garmin and Children’s Mercy Kansas City. Now, he’s continuing to follow his passion for storytelling and creative problem solving by helping Native and our clients share their stories and achieve their goals.
When he’s not helping growing business, you can catch him running (if you’re fast enough), riding and refueling in the outdoors. If you move a little slower, you’ll find him with a microphone in his hand, whether it’s emceeing a gala or singing perfectly bad karaoke.
“I’m an IPA or wheat beer guy. Boulevard’s Space Camper is my current favorite. I also enjoy a glass or three of wine or tequila & tonic.”
“90’s hip-hop, 80’s power ballads, folk rock and go-to karaoke favorites (yes, I have a list).”
Little Known Fact
I started college as an aerospace engineering major. Two weeks later, I went to Lollapalooza and changed to art & design/advertising. My dad, a science teacher of 40 years, has since forgiven me. Finally.
