Group Director, Media Planning

Role & Responsibility
  • Lead Planning, monitoring, and modeling performance for a select group of clients across all brand awareness initiatives. Success means increased visibility to performance & accountability across the team.
  • Mentor and oversee campaign managers to develop comprehensive, full-funnel paid media strategies encompassing digital media, social media, programmatic, influencer marketing, sponsorships and shared media.
  • Design & execute complex, end-to-end marketing campaigns delivering conversions and leads.
  • Effectively present analysis, plans, and performance to clients.
  • Build on internal processes to optimize conversion. Develop hypotheses and set goals during planning, then systematically test and revise to hit goals and surpass benchmarks.
  • Set a tone of high standards, audience insights, and data-driven decision-making.
If you’re right for the role, you will…
  • Have 7-10 years experience in an advertising or marketing environment with ability to demonstrate approach to media planning for variety of clients.
  • Track record of measurable success in translating business needs into marketing campaigns that model a path for positive ROI. 
  • Strong desire to be a player coach as the team rapidly grows and evolves.
  • Strategic thinker with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Growth mindset with results-driven approach to work (testing, measuring, iterating).
  • Effectively present strategic recommendations internally and externally.
  • Have a bachelor’s degree in a related field.

  • Campaign performance: we pride ourselves in continuously improving performance as we manage campaigns over time as well as significant increases from initial benchmarks when onboarding new clients. Success is reflected in directly affecting that growth as well as tangentially by supporting other team members in their management & optimization efforts. Understand when optimization needs to happen at the audience level or when creative alterations are needed.
  • Team support: Success for this means improving the performance of the individuals on the team through campaign oversight and growing skill sets. Ongoing training and scheduled campaign check-ins are keys to realizing client success through individual growth & mentorship.
