Director of Marketing

This role will lead self-promotion & demand generation activities to ensure continued growth of one of the Midwest’s fastest growing marketing firms. We’re building our reputation by being habitually helpful. That means sharing marketing resources and insights in multiple shapes, forms and channels.

Role & Responsibility
  • Lead ideation & prioritization of strategic promotional initiatives with the CEO & VP team. Coordinate efforts with the new business team’s outreach.
  • Oversee the execution and improvement of the full marketing plan: 
    • PAID – search, linkedin, youtube, sponsorships
    • OWNED – website, content, podcast, direct mail, newsletter, social media
    • EARNED – media relations, guest speaking, blog contribution, etc
  • Accountable for the:
    • Briefs & inputs for colleagues & freelancers to execute
    • Caliber & quality of content & resources
    • Pace of publishing
    • Results & effectiveness
  • Team structure
    • REPORTS TO – CEO
    • SUPPORTED BY – project management, creative, performance, PR, photo, video
If you’re right for the role, you will…
  • Have 7-15 years experience working in an agency environment.
  • Broad based knowledge of branding & marketing.
  • Superior ability to communicate with internal leadership.
  • Adaptable, resourceful, and highly organized.
