Account Executive – New Business

Description

This is an opener role. You thrive on opening new conversations and new relationships with prospective clients by continually providing value through resources and consultation.  You will be responsible for identifying the client type that we can legitimately assist and continue through until signature.

Role & Responsibility
  • Help quickly scale our client base and identify new revenue opportunities from prospecting to close
  • Consistently meet goals for finding and closing new business
  • Ask purposeful questions and listen attentively to prospects to identify key business pains and to propose appropriate solutions
  • Present capabilities and recommendations to prospective clients to initiate client relationships 
  • Guide the creation of detailed proposals and RFP responses for projects & partner relationships alongside discipline leaders
  • Participate in sales & marketing efforts to increase awareness in select markets (channels may include email and call campaigns, speaking engagements, conferences, and social media) 
  • Work closely with senior leadership on vertical industry pursuits and onboarding prospective clients to active clients
If you’re right for the role, you will…
  • Be a passionate, revenue-driven professional with 5+ years B2B sales experience selling to Director, VP, and senior-level roles with a proven track record in managing a sales pipeline and achieving targets
  • Prior experience in an advertising or marketing environment is desirable, but ultimately, we are looking for candidates with a high degree of general sales acumen
  • Be client-focused with the ability to build trust and gain rapport
  • Have a superior ability to deliver and articulate presentations to high-level decision-makers
  • Enjoy engaging with people and identifying areas for partnership, collaboration, and sales
  • Be adaptable, resourceful, highly organized, and thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
  • Be highly self-motivated and driven by achieving individual and team sales goals
  • Work with leadership and other critical company resources to meet or exceed company revenue goals 
  • Professional sales training a plus (Sandler, Force Management, Challenger, etc)
