About Micah

Micah heads up the creative team and is a creative force of nature: his favorite past projects range from event & brand design for TedGlobal 2014 to designing the cup at his favorite burrito place in Nashville. Besides those projects, he’s also worked on Coldplay’s Super Bowl 50 halftime artwork for Pepsi, Branding for Thundergong! a benefit for Steps of Faith in KC featuring Jason Sudeikis, Will Forte & Fred Armisen, and various t-shirts and posters over the years for the likes of Wilco, St. Vincent and Spoon, among others.

At Native, Micah says he enjoys working on a close-knit team that cares about the end goal and each other, and loves the creative process of bringing ideas to life, from a blank slate to a finished product. At home, Micah enjoys dance parties with his daughter, dates with his wife, seeing live music, going to movies and working on personal projects.

Favorite music: Kind of hard to nail down a favorite, but lately I’ve been listening to Phoebe Bridgers, Talking Heads, Car Seat Headrest, Petty’s Wildflowers and A Tribe Called Quest.

Favorite drink: Black iced tea

Little-known fact: “Seth Rogen wore a Wilco shirt I made in the Judd Apatow movie, Funny People.”
